Larial Analytical Inc. is a subsidiary of Larial Proteomics Inc., an 8-year old Toronto-based, bioanalytical CRO, that provides intellectual property development services to the fermentation, biotech, pharma and academic sectors. Our staff consists of knowledgeable Ph.D. scientists with industry experience in vital areas such as good documentation practices, identification of experimental sources of error, SOP development and reagent/equipment validation. Larial scientists have considerable expertise in the development, characterization, validation and use of immunological probes for biomarker analysis. For many years, Larial has provided industry training and HR support services for the biotech and pharma sectors. Our laboratory focuses on assembling and validating molecular probes to novel therapeutic and diagnostic targets especially in cases where commercial reagents are insufficient or they simply don't exist. Technological advances in such areas as biological mass spectrometry and SPR biosensing have enabled research scientists to assess the expression patterns and functional characteristics of a variety of mammalian and microbial proteins. Larial has provided bioanalytical support both to fermentation and biomedical scientists working in the biomarker discovery and protein expression areas. A fundamental key to our success is the appropriate use of a wide variety of bioanalytical tools that provide clients with readily accessible and affordable infrastructure. This lowers costs for both large and small R&D based companies seeking to develop patent able IP or in need of assessing currently marketed competitive technologies. Larial's approach is to develop scientific algorithms that utilize well-established technologies in order to solve challenging R&D problems. This places Larial clients at a competitive advantage by enabling them to move quickly beyond basic laboratory-based studies to creating truly valuable intellectual capital in support of patent filings or commercial product development and marketing. Our focus has been to link proteomics-based discoveries to profits by:

  • Solving challenging protein expression and production problems;

  • Developing high quality molecular probes to established targets of interest;

  • Creating proprietary diagnostic tests with improved performance;

  • Understanding protein structure/function relationships;
